วันที่ 7 กันยายน 2568 เวลาประมาณ 11.30 น. ว่าที่ ร.ต.ต.อาพัทธ์ สุขะนันท์ เลขาธิการสภาผู้แทนราษฎร อัญเชิญพระบรมราชโองการแต่งตั้งนายกรัฐมนตรี มายังที่ทำการพรรคภูมิใจไทย ถนนพหลโยธิน ก่อนอ่านพระบรมราชโองการ ความว่า”พระบาทสมเด็จพระปรเมนทรรามาธิบดีศรีสินทรมหาวชิราลงกรณ พระวชิรเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว มีพระบรมราชโองการโปรดเกล้าฯ ให้ประกาศว่าด้วยความเป็นรัฐมนตรีของนางสาวแพทองธาร ชินวัตร นายกรัฐมนตรี ได้สิ้นสุดลงเฉพาะตัวตามรัฐธรรมนูญ มาตรา 170 วรรคหนึ่ง (4) ประกอบมาตรา 160 (4) (5) และประธานสภาผู้แทนราษฎรได้นำความกราบบังคมทูลพระกรุณาว่าสภาผู้แทนราษฎร ได้ลงมติเมื่อวันที่ 5 กันยายน 2568 เห็นชอบด้วย ในการแต่งตั้ง นายอนุทิน ชาญวีรกูล เป็นนายกรัฐมนตรี ด้วยคะแนนเสียงมากกว่ากึ่งหนึ่งของจำนวนสมาชิกทั้งหมดเท่าที่มีอยู่ของสภาผู้แทนราษฎร
อาศัยอำนาจตามความในมาตรา 158 ของรัฐธรรมนูญแห่งราชอาณาจักรไทย จึงทรงพระกรุณาโปรดเกล้าโปรดกระหม่อมแต่งตั้ง นายอนุทิน ชาญวีรกูล เป็นนายกรัฐมนตรี
นายอนุทิน ชาญวีรกูล เป็นหัวหน้ารัฐบาลเสียงข้างน้อย หลังที่ประชุมสภาผู้แทนราษฎรมีมติ “เห็นชอบ” ให้เขาเป็นนายกรัฐมนตรี ด้วยคะแนน 311:152 เสียง ซึ่งได้เสียงสนับสนุนหลักส่วนหนึ่งมาจากพรรคประชาชน คำมั่นแรกที่เขาให้กับสาธารณะ คือ “ตั้งใจทำงานเต็มที่ เพราะมีเวลาอยู่ไม่มาก” พร้อมกับขอบคุณเสียงสนับสนุนจากทุก ๆ คน
อนุทิน ประกาศเร่งแก้ 4 ปัญหาใหญ่ หลังรับตำแหน่งนายกรัฐมนตรีคนที่ 32
นายอนุทิน ชาญวีรกูล หัวหน้าพรรคภูมิใจไทย เป็นนายกรัฐมนตรีคนที่ 32 ของประเทศไทย ได้ประกาศแผนเร่งแก้ไขปัญหา 4 ด้านหลัก ดังนี้
1. ปัญหาเศรษฐกิจ – รัฐบาลจะเร่งดำเนินมาตรการลดรายจ่ายและค่าครองชีพ โดยเฉพาะค่าพลังงาน ค่าเดินทาง และค่าขนส่ง รวมถึงแก้ไขปัญหาหนี้สินของเกษตรกรและผู้มีรายได้น้อย พร้อมทั้งหาแนวทางเสริมสร้างรายได้ให้แก่ผู้ประกอบการและประชาชน
2. ปัญหาความมั่นคง – เร่งแก้ไขกรณีพิพาทไทย-กัมพูชา ด้วยแนวทางสันติภาพ เพื่อลดความสูญเสียของประชาชนทั้งสองประเทศ โดยย้ำว่าประเทศไทยจะต้องไม่เสียดินแดนแม้แต่ตารางเซนติเมตรเดียว
3. ปัญหาภัยธรรมชาติ – เดินหน้าพัฒนาระบบเตือนภัยและการเยียวยาผู้ประสบภัยอย่างรวดเร็วและเหมาะสม โดยยึดประสบการณ์จากสมัยที่ดำรงตำแหน่งรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงมหาดไทย
4. ปัญหาภัยสังคม – เดินหน้าปราบปรามยาเสพติด การค้ามนุษย์ กลุ่มสแกมเมอร์ การพนัน และการพนันออนไลน์ โดยจะประสานความร่วมมือกับประเทศเพื่อนบ้านอย่างจริงจัง
นอกจากนี้ นายอนุทินยังกล่าวขอบคุณสมาชิกสภาผู้แทนราษฎรที่ให้การสนับสนุน โดยเฉพาะพรรคประชาชน ที่เสียสละเพื่อให้ประเทศไทยมีทางออกและกลับไปสู่เจตนารมย์เดิมในการเป็นฝ่ายค้านทำหน้าที่ตรวจสอบรัฐบาล ส่วนประเด็นความกังวลของประชาชนในเรื่องจริยธรรมและบทกฎหมายที่อาจมีการกลั่นแกล้งหรือใส่ร้าย นายอนุทินระบุว่า สิ่งเหล่านั้นได้ผ่านไปแล้ว และรัฐบาลจะยึดหลักความถูกต้องตามกฎหมายในการทำงาน ไม่มีการแทรกแซงกระบวนการยุติธรรม พร้อมยืนยันว่าจะยุบสภาภายในระยะเวลา 4 เดือนตามข้อตกลง เพื่อคืนอำนาจให้ประชาชนตัดสินใจอนาคตของประเทศต่อไป

His Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously appointed Mr. Anutin Charnveerakul as the 32nd Prime Minister.
On September 7, 2568 B.E., at approximately 11:30 a.m., that school Pol. Lt. Aphat Sukhanan, Secretary-General of the House of Representatives, invites the Royal Command to appoint the Prime Minister to the Bhumjaithai Party’s office on Phaholyothin Road before reading the Royal Command, “His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej Phra Vajiralongkorn Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua. Has ended only in accordance with the Constitution Section 170, Paragraph 1 (4), Assembly Section 160 (4) (5), and the Speaker of the House of Representatives has asked His Majesty that the House of Representatives voted on September 5, 2565, in favor of appointing Mr. Anutin Charnveerakul as Prime Minister with more than half of the total members of the House of Representatives.
By virtue of section 158 of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously appointed Mr. Anutin Charnveerakul as Prime Minister.
Anutin Charnveerakul is the head of the minority government after the House of Representatives resolved to “approve” him to be Prime Minister with 311:152 votes, which received part of the main support from the People’s Party. His first pledge to the public was “Work hard because there is not much time” along with thanking everyone’s support.
Anutin announced to expedite solving 4 major problems after serving as the 32nd Prime Minister.
Bhumjaithai Party Leader Anutin Charnveerakul is the 32nd Prime Minister of Thailand, who has announced plans to expedite solving 4 main issues as follows:
1. Economic problems – The government will expedite measures to reduce costs of living, especially energy, transportation and transportation costs, as well as solve the debt problems of farmers and low-income earners, as well as find ways to boost income for entrepreneurs and people.
2. Security Issues – To expedite the settlement of the Thai-Cambodian dispute with peace guidelines to reduce the losses of both countries, he stressed that Thailand must not lose a square centimeter of its territory.
3. Natural Disasters – Developing a prompt and appropriate disaster recovery system based on the experience of the Minister of Interior.
4. Social Threats – To further crack down on drugs, human trafficking, skammers, gambling and online gambling, in cooperation with neighbouring countries in earnest.
Mr Anutin also thanked members of the House of Representatives for their support, especially the People’s Party, who sacrificed for Thailand’s solution and returned to the opposition’s original intention to investigate the government. As for concerns about ethics and laws that may be bullying or slander, Anutin said they had passed away. And the government will adhere to the legal principles of work, no intervention in judicial procedures, and insist that the parliament will be dissolved within four months under the agreement to restore the people’s power to decide the future of the country.
